To all of us who celebrate, I hope you have eight nights of light. Remember all the extra calories don't count , it's part of the Hanukkah miracle :)

Happy Hanukkah! I've already eaten 4 of the truffles that dh got me for today (he isn't Jewish, but he tries).

Have a lovely holiday!

I meant to put a card through neighbour's letter box late last night and forgot, however I'll do it later. Hannukkah starts today so I won't exactly have missed it.

So I have one Jewish friend and as she is abroad I always send her one of my personalised photo cards that says happy Christmas or seasons greetings and just wished her a happy Hanukkah inside. I haven't so far this year as I'm always wondering if she's insulted by it...would you be?

I'm going to go and see my SIL's Menorah when lit this evening (from outside of course); she's pregnant and has GD and there is nothing food wise I can take her that she is both allowed to eat and can enjoy which is rotten for her... I think I'll store up 8 days worth of treats for after the baby comes. Happy Hanukkah everyone :)
