Has someone stood up for you?

I found the thread about strangers being rude to you quite upsetting but there were one or two about someone standing up for you refreshing. Has someone stood up for you or put others in “their place”.
Mine was when I was younger and discreetly breastfeeding on a train- the man opposite started tutting and muttering. This little old lady actually stood up and bent over him shouting - it’s wonderful , it’s a beautiful baby being fed by his mother, what’s your problem. He just picked up his newspaper and went. This lovely old lady just kept saying how wonderful I was- I remember it so well ( and I am probably older than the old lady now)

Yes & boy was I grateful

I was walking through a crowded market & suddenly had this aggressive lecherous drunk guy right in my face, trying to trap my boobs. Reflex action I grabbed him by his throat & held him away. Only he grabbed my arm & wasn't backing off & I realised I was shafted. Out of nowhere, this huge mountain of a man appears & grabbed his shoulder & very calmly but menacingly asked if he had a problem. Arsehole guy mutters no, & quickly shuffles off with his head. Man mountain winks at me & disappeared into the crowd.

Never forgotten him, apart kindness & brilliant timing, he was just such a cool dude

I was a kid and given some money by my mother to pay for something. There was a problem with my change and the shopkeeper was starting to scold me. Another person in the queue told her to lay off a kid.
