Virgin mobile constant scam calls

Hi, can I ask how you are getting on with virgin mobile. DS has been flooded with calls from Armenia and Zimbabwe constantly for the past few days. Blocking the number doesn't seem to work. Do they sell the phone number once you are out of contract? Tried to contact them but I've had to reset the password and I don't think it registers on their system for 24 hours.
He's really fed up and inclined to cancel the SIM tomorrow.

I've been getting so many calls since I joined them last month and I've only just connected the dots seeing your post now. How can they even give our numbers out? I ignore numbers I don't know unless I'm expecting a call but it's still infuriating being inundated with calls

My (other) son said something about them not having to keep your number private after you are out of contract, but I have no idea of that's true. My son who has the mobile phone has had a dozen calls this evening. I think they (scammers) make money if you answer it or call back. There ought to be something Virgin Media can do to stop it.
