You should be able to go to the listing on Amazon and there’ll be a ”sell this” button. Then just complete the boxes and submit, buyers will than see that there's x-number new at £xx and 1 second hand at £xy

Cant you just return it?

lol no, I'm thinking of the books my kids read which you get very little for secondhand on eBay.

@PoppyOppy
When I click on the 'Sell' button it says I need to register and pay £25 per month to sell!
I'd need to sell a lot of books to recoup that!

Fulltime Amazon bookseller here
yes you can sell books on Amazon -You can register as a non professional seller and not pay the £30.00 monthly fee (it is £25.00 plus vat) , however the selling fees are then higher
In my opinion it is not really worth it if you only plan to sell a few books , there are good reasons why you see so few hobby booksellers on amazon compared to ebay -
It is easy to list , but amazon fees are high and they now carry out seller verification checks , the customer service to sellers is also dreadful.

Thanks @pobparker
Presumably you must get a better price for your books etc on Amazon than eBay?
Just curious what percentage better it is?
I doubt I'll start now.
