Can using hot water bottles bring on your period?

I've been freezing at home recently so been using hot water bottles a lot during the day and at night) often around my lower back. My period has just started a fair bit earlier than expected... At least a week early. Have the hot water bottles brought it on?

Wouldn't have thought so!!

I was told once to regulate my period, i should put a heat pad on my back around the date of my period. Never really tried it but apparently it does make a difference
