I have mastitis, do I still need a covid test?

So this is probably a very, very stupid question but I feel awful and can't think straight. I have mastitis which has given me a temperature, considering I know it mastitis do I still need to take a covid test for the temperature?

Technically you still do, you could have both at the same time.

Yes as in theory you could have both covid and mastitis. I’m hoping you’ve had antibiotics prescribed and you make a speedy recovery.

I was worried that would be the case my daughters birthday is on the weekend too its rotten timing. Thank you @DigitalChristmas I have got antibiotics ans hoping they will work fast.

Poor you! I was in the same boat a few weeks ago and I did have to have a Covid test. Hope you feel better soon and get your results fast.
