Sarah Raven problems

Hi all - first world problems I know - but I spent over £50 on Xmas lights from Sarah Raven, and instead received blue bunting which I am hardly going to put up at Xmas, am I? Impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone - and no response to my emails. Absolute rubbish service. Anyone else had similar problems. GH

I have as well, normally I find them over priced for gardening stuff but their stuff is beautiful.

Ordered some specific compost (which was in stock) I couldn’t get elsewhere in the summer, they ended up delaying and delaying, id ordered a seaweed feed as well to try and make more of the expensive delivery. All that came was the seaweed feed, so I ended up paying £10 -£15 for something I’d have got for £4.50 in my local garden centre.
Customer service slow to reply about compost and just told me to send the seaweed back (which makes no sense) if I was unhappy with the cost.

Beautiful stuff but certainly on my “Dont bother” list.

Given their vastly reduced customer service phone line hours, I just phoned their order line when I had an issue last week. To their credit, whenever I've had a problem, they've sorted it and replaced/refunded promptly as necessary.

However ...

I love Sarah Raven, but do think they are underestimating the PR shambles that is hitting them this year. Everyone fairly understanding of problems at the beginning of the Covid crisis, but we're ? 8 months on now and things are just getting worse.

Everything they post on Facebook is getting bombarded with complaints from people with orders missing. Unfortunately I think they should have closed new orders some time ago to get caught up, then if they couldn't get staffed up they should have restricted orders.

I still order from them, but certainly nothing I'm in a hurry for!

They've been so bad this year.

I've never heard of Sarah Raven!
