Churro Maker Recipe

After hearing him bang on about them, I have given in and bought DH a Churro maker for Christmas. I know he will want to play with it on Boxong Day so I want to make sure I have all the ingredients in, but I don't want to open the packaging to try to find a recipe so I have resorted to searching online.

I have found several that refer to using cooking oil but the machine I have bought says you don't need this, so I am wondering if I will need slightly different ingredients?

Is there anyone out there who has one of these wonderous machines and can advise? Smile

Churros are fried. They aren't that different to donuts really. How could you do them without oil?

Have you tried Googling your specific churro maker to see if you can find the recipe it uses. I think typically you just use a typing bag to form the shape and then deep fry.

Get good quality chocolate to go with it. The churro itself is more about texture than flavour. The thick chocolate you have it with makes it!
