Lunch ideas for when you're working at your desk

I basically work from 9.30 till 2.30 after which I go straight to do the school / nursery runs / clubs etc which means I don't get time to eat lunch. I basically don't eat anything apart from breakfast till around 6pm.

I'm looking for some ideas for things to take to work which I can eat at my desk but I want it to be something that doesn't look obvious like a big bowl of spaghetti or something. I don't want to munch on crisps and fruit. I'm looking for savoury stuff that could suffice for a reasonable lunch.

I know I could just take some sandwiches in which is what I was going to do but then my supervisor makes a massive point that I am not "entitled" to a lunch break whilst the others who work full time obviously are so I just don't feel comfortable sat at my desk eating a sandwich whilst I work.

Any ideas would be great.

That's awful that your superior comments. If you're still working and at your desk, I can't see what the issue is? Presumably you'd be 'allowed' to have a biscuit with a cup of tea? How is this different?

Anyway, to answer your question (and try to avoid comment from the boss) soup in a flask or cup with crackers might be an easy alternative. Literally no different to a hot drink and a biscuit. I often make a huge pot of soup that lasts the week which you could do if you have time or you could have cuppa soups/mug shot type things.
