I'm not a frequent Ebay user, and have only bought, never sold on Ebay.

I recently bought a pair of used joggers, but when they arrived they were covered in bobbles, which was not mentioned in the description of the photo.

The seller is being lovely, and immediately accepted a return, and sent a postage label, but before I could click the link to print the label, she'd also issued a full refund. Very trusting! I am of course sending the trousers back, but it seems that now the refund has been issued, when I click on the "print postage" link, it just says "you have been refunded for this item".

How do I access the postage label to be able to return the trousers?!

Just message her for her address. I don't have a printer so always asked for a note of where i need to send it to

It could be that she can't be bothered paying the return postage, so has just decided to cut her losses and refund you - I've done that from time to time with cheap items. Message her and ask if she does want them back, but make sure she pays the return postage somehow if she does.

She's sent a returns label via Ebay, so she's already paid the postage for me presumably, but I can't access the label now that the refund has been issued. I could just ask for her address, but then I'll end up paying postage for a an item I'm not keeping and isn't as described.

You need to ask the seller what to do in this case

Plump82 · 08/12/2020 15:01

Ah sorry i didn't realise she was paying the return as well. Yeah best you message her and see what she wants to do.

Message her and ask what to do.

The eBay returns label is often produced by the system or eBay team.
Once the tracking confirms it’s been received she would be charged by eBay for the postage and your refund gets processed.

She may have refunded to you and closed the case which caused the label to be canceled
Message her via eBay letting her know that you can no longer access the label and she can either take action from there (for example generate a Royal Mail label herself and send you it as an image) or she can confirm that she has written it off and doesn’t want the extra expense of the return postage
