Russian navy

I keep seeing reports on there being an increased russian naval presence around britain but dont know why? And to be honest if it matters.

Ive read a few of these. My theory is that they're keeping a load of ships out because of the virus so have got them doing their usual stupid trouble making schtick. But there are rumours Putin is going soon.

They wouldnt there if they were going to invade or something. Ships these days are just huge cruise missile targets.

This is nothing new. Every few weeks the Typhoons are scrambled to intercept Russian jets on the edge of our airspace.

They're just testing to see how on the ball we are. We probably do the same to them.

Russia also dont really have any sort of navy which can stand up to the (overrated) standards of the rest of their armed forces. They have one aircraft carrier and its an international joke.
