Are garden centres normally cheaper than pop up places selling Xmas trees? Never bought one before!

I hope you can still get one, OP. My local garden centre has one delivery of trees from the wholesaler at the end of November and they’re often sold out by now.

However you can buy trees online and have them delivered, so do a search and price check.

They're much of a muchness. The cheapest place I've found for what we were after (7ft Fraser Fir) was B&Q who also deliver.

Roadside/pop up ones tend to be cheaper IME but not necessarily as good quality. Garden centres have always been hideously expensive when I’ve bought from them!

Everywhere still full of trees here! We’ve got an artificial tree (tiny house, young children) but it wont’t be going up until at least next weekend!

If there is an Ikea near you they cost about £25 with a £20 voucher for Jan/Feb. I think they are doing that again this year but I'm not 100% certain. I think garden centres have had it tough this year and was more than happy to support our local one without looking at the price very closely.

No, I would say the opposite generally.

IKEA seem to be the cheapest. Christmas tree farms prices vary but have more choice and it's a nice experience. I bought mine from B&Q this year, £50 for a 7ft tree which is a good price and honestly it's a beautiful tree, probably one of the best I've had

Wilko have them too. I saw some big ones for £40ish.
