Contact them, they’re pretty good. Sorted out a similar issue for me... verified me via iTunes if I remember correctly.

I think this must happen all the time, as it seems to be possible to set up an account without an email address attached to it. It took a while for them to get back to us, but they also sorted my dd’s account out when we had the same problem.
