I have an interview tomorrow

I have thoroughly prepared but yet I'm still panicking.

How do I calm myself and present myself well? I'm worried I'll be a gibbering wreck and won't give my best.

I really want this opportunity. It's for a training course.

Breathe!

Have you got your outfit sorted? Before the interview tomorrow, just breathe, say "I've got this, I know my stuff" and smile!

Thank you @Almostslimjim

Got my top half sorted, it's on zoom. I'm fully prepared, researched and practiced.

Just got to keep calm!

Good luck Serena! Nerves are natural, you'll be fine! Have a good night's sleep beforehand to let all that prep work really sink in, and don't forget to breathe Smile

JovialNickname · 07/12/2020 18:05

Oh and don't forget to let us know how it goes tomorrow!

Nordman · 07/12/2020 18:06

Sing something uplifting outloud before the interview, it warms up your voice and helps you relax at the same time. Good luck!

My tip for online interviews is write the time it finishes, and what will be doing afterwards, on a post-it in your peripheral vision. It helps give me some perspective, a reminder that it's just an hour (or whatever) and then it's over!Smile good luck Daffodil

Good luck! Since it's on Zoom you could make yourself some brief notes in relation to things you feel might come up by way of questions. Obviously keep them off the screen :)

Congratulations op! Well done. The advice on here was great, things I had never thought of before

ilovemydogandMrObama · 08/12/2020 17:22

Be sure you are sitting a bit away from the camera.

A colleague puts her face so close - a bit off putting.

SpudsandGravy · 09/12/2020 10:52

Congratulations, OP :) That's fantastic news! WineCakeThanks
