Colds

Why do people react so different to the same cold. My family have a cold and for 3 of us its been a stuffy nose and a headache but my eldest son has a hacking cough with it and streaming nose, swollen eyes (he has a negative covid test).

Because everyone has a different immune system

So is my sons better or worse? Like is he mounting a stronger attack or has his body not dealt with it so well so theres more virus to attack now

Because you have antibodies gained from having had colds before. That's why kids get awful colds
