5 weeks pregnant, anxiety ridden having cleaned bathroom caulking

Hi there, I am pregnant with my second baby and just over 5 weeks. A couple days ago I attempted to remove the caulking on our bathtub which has had quite a lot of black mold growth. I didn’t realise it would be toxic to actually remove the silicone, though I did wear a mask, and I did touch the silicone with my bare hand to remove it. I vacuumed the little chunks up and when I emptied the vacuum cleaner my first one was standing right by the bin, and now I’m not only worried I have caused damage to the growing baby, but also worried my little girl has inhaled some spores as the dust and silicone bits emptied. The past week I have also painted the bathroom radiator which I didn’t realise could also be dangerous to pregnant women and the fetus!! I can’t seem to find accurate info on this and not sure if I am allowing my anxiety to snowball because I’m sleep deprived and stressed. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Your anxiety is causing this worry. Stop googling. I do sympathise as I get health anxiet myself but honestly you don’t need to worry about the scenario you describe

Okay, thank you! Sometimes you just need someone to tell you your thoughts are a bit irrational 😅 also hard because it’s still the early stages and all heath related issues seem paramount

It certainly a hard time to be pregnant! Best of luck to you x
