How do you hang your wreath on your door?

I got a suction cup but I don’t think it’s coping with the cold weather.

Do the over the door hooks work? I can never understand how the door would still actually close 🤔

Yes they work they are very slender

A wee suction hook inside, twine goes over the door with wreath handing outside.

Over door hooks are very thin.

We hang ours on our wire door by threading wire through the holes. You could use command hooks.

I hammer it on with 6 inch nails and inevitably cut myself on the barbed wire, but I find the blood running down the door adds to the effect.

I discovered on here the function of the upside down hook on the inside of my front door was to hang the Christmas wreath. I've tried it out, and it's doing the job... I have ribbon going from the wreath, over the top of the door, to the hook.

It stays on the door all year round (the hook, not the wreath). The wreath I have is artificial and not too heavy.

I've got an over door hook now, but before I got it I used a large command hook upside down on the inside of the door, then hung the wreath on twine over the door that way.

I got a Command stick on hook, use of for Xmas and the Halloween stuff. It doesn't offend me being there the rest of the year.
Seems stuck fast!

I used to use an upside down command hook and a long length of ribbon but bought an over door hook this year and it’s much better. The hook is black and my door is black too so it’s practically invisible.

Tie it to the door knocker

Ours is tied onto the door knocker, which is fortunately up a height. The knocker is 2 spaniels, in brass. Lucky find in Islington market on a Christmas trip out.
