Where can I find this bed throw?

Must be large enough for a king size bed. Must be velvet. Plain colour - no patterns or embellishments, prefer a jewel bright colour or a steep grey / deep blue - nothing pastel. Must have a nice weight to it

I've spotted one on John Lewis for £200 but wondered what else might be out there if any one could recommend one to me. Budget up to £250

Try qvc U.K. they had a filled velvet throw on the other day in various colours for £40 or something similar. They do various ranges. That one was cozee home but they had nice Alison cork ones a while back too.

The Heals one is beautiful, isn't it? It comes in two sizes and the bigger one (which I think you'd want) is over your budget - I'm really sorry!

I'm sorry, I only noticed that a few minutes ago! I was looking for them late last night on my phone, so didn't notice. I have a deep, deep yearning for one of these velvet throws now!

Yes I didn't want one until I saw this thread ! I love nice bedding.

I think it'll be the Heals one or one from John Lewis. I had a look at the QVC one and although nice, it's not got that luxe look that I'm after. I want a heavy draping throw and that looks more like a lightweight fleece type thing - which is reflected in the price I know
