Best Christmas days out with kids?

Looking for inspiration what has been your best Christmas days out with kids?

Anyone doing anything this year or recommendations?

Not sure where you are but a lot of the popular events in our area are now fully booked so you might not have a wide choice.

We're in Hampshire and there are a lot of Christmas trails/walks going on this year so it might be worth checking out your local country parks/public gardens or National trust.

How old are your dc?

We are in wales.

Is there a train line near you? Mine love going on a steam train at Christmas.

Any theatre productions going on?

If you're anywhere near Cardiff there's Ty Cerrig Christmas tree farm which is nice place to choose a tree. We've also planned a couple of visits to Tredegar House and Dyffryn gardens- both national trust places. Not sure if st fagans is open but that's usually nice to have a walk around at Christmas time.
