Weird Lump - please help

Hi hoping someone can help me.
I've recently had quite a heavy cold, very bunged up with sinus pain etc.
This has mostly cleared.
However when wiping my nose I noticed a round sore lump inside the entrance of my nostril (fixed to the base).
What's weird though is if I pull my nose upwards I can feel the lump through my face and move it between my fingers (I dont know if this makes sense)

I had non invasive breast cancer in 2018 so I'm worrying myself sick, cant get a doctors appointment due to covid sad

Try ringing your GP.

I've had 2 lumps, saw GP, saw specialist, hot sent straight to outpatients surgery, had that one removed on the spot & have some rather mind bending 'cream' for the other one with follow up appointment in two months.

Call your GP.

Hopefully it's nothing, but best you get it looked at.

It is probably connected to the cold you just had, it would be a huge coincidence otherwise. Try not to touch it for a couple of week, moisturise your nose so its not dry and if its still not gone in a week or two make a doctors appointment just to reassure you.

I did wonder about a polyps but when I pull my nose up it seems to disappear in my nose and I can feel it in the skin under my nose. Its weird I cant tell whether it's in my nose or my face.

I wouldn’t run off to the GP yet, I’d absolutely leave it alone for a week and see if it’s still there then.
If you make an appointment it might well be a week away anyway, and you can always cancel the appointment.

Thank you I'm sure my constant poking and prodding cant be helping matters but I just cant put it out my mind.
Ive had a torch up there (!) and the lump does appear to have a white dry head which gives me hope it will soon heal and shrink. I've probably made the swelling worse. Will try to leave it alone!

Am I ok to post a nostril picture here or is that a bit gross? I think it looks like a polyp but could do with a second opinion if anyone has a second?

It could just be an old fashioned spot you know. I had one up my nose once.
