Has anyone aged 45 or under had a hip replacement?
If so how bad were you before having it done and how has it affected/improved your life since?

I didn't but a friend of mine had both her hips done before she was 40 (separately). She was pretty bad before doing the first one and in hindsight definitely feels she left it too long. Her mobility was badly affected and she was struggling to walk any distance at all. After she had it done the recovery time wasn't bad at all and she was a new woman. As soon as the other one started getting bad she sorted the surgery much sooner so it wouldn't get as bad as the first one was. She's great now (about 5 years later)
