Hello all. First post here, hope its in the right place hahaha.
On Sunday I will be 12 weeks pregnant (I have a 7 year old too) and currently employed on a 0 hour contract. I don't feel like I'm getting enough hours/pay each month as shifts can be cut or cut shorter up until the day before I'm working if it's not busy. I have to be on my feet all day for the nature of this job but I still like it.

I applied for a second job so I could earn a bit more and got the news on Monday that my partner will be made redundant next year about march. I have an interview for another job and its similar to what I'm doing already but more advanced. It's better hours day shifts and no weekends and a higher pay. i would be an exciting opportunity but I'm not sure what I would be entitled to if I were to leave and start somewhere new or if I was to work at both places (whatever hours I got at the new place and then one weekday and one weekend day)

Obviously I haven't even gone for my interview yet but I just like to be prepared.
I just wanted to ask if anyone has been in a similar situation and what they chose to do. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You wouldn't be entitled to mat pay, so need to find out about maternity allowance. Nothing is secure at the moment so you might as well try for the better job.
