This is a book about the process if dying, so obviously I would expect it to be sad and even harrowing in places. But these 2 pages strike me as unbelievably horrific. Did you know you could vomit ALL your blood out of your body in one giant clot? This must be freakishly rare, surely? It's like something out of a horror movie that I would dismiss as impossible if it wasn't written by a doctor.
