How many times has the app told you to isolate?

I am in a tier 3 area. Since the NHS test and trace app became a thing, I've been told 4 times to self isolate as I may have been in contact with someone who tested positive. I'm on my 4th one now. Good job I'm furloughed.

Never. It’s Shit. And it told my colleague to isolate for 3 days which I think means it was 11 days late notifying him . He’s a teacher so had been in contact with loads of people.

Not once even though my daughter got covid, logged it on the app and our phones were in the same house for 2 weeks.

Legoandloldolls · 01/12/2020 22:26

Never, because I never go out anywhere now and I switch it off at home and in the school run. If I did get close to anyone in the playground ( unlikely ) I'm going to find out via school.

It's pointless unless your at work or it's not lockdown. We are going into their two and still cant mix indoors so meh, no one to catch it off outside of my house.

Graciebobcat · 01/12/2020 22:27

Zero. But as I've only left the house to walk the dog for the last month, hardly surprising.

DuchessMinnie · 01/12/2020 22:27

Never, and I work in a London hospital, commuting on public transport. Not a single self isolation.

Happyrascalsmummy · 01/12/2020 22:28

I've used the app since it first launched and haven't been told to isolate at all. In the 'Liverpool city region' 🙄 so been tier 3 since mid October.

Tinks15 · 01/12/2020 22:29

Have had to isolate once due to getting a message saying I’d been in contact with someone that had tested positive still can’t work out where I would of come into contact - isolating was awful. Once out of isolation I turned the track & trace off - i don’t want to keep getting messages every couple of weeks that’s ridiculous, I have two young children & I have to work.

None. Work in a school and travel by train.

loubieloo4 · 01/12/2020 22:38

I had to turn mine off after it told me a few times to isolate when taking dh for chemo, we are at the hospital at least once a week and I would never remember to turn in on and off.

LadyCatStark · 01/12/2020 22:46

Tier 3 and 0

Clymene · 01/12/2020 22:50

Never

grapefruitish · 01/12/2020 22:51

Never. Tier3.

letsdolunch321 · 01/12/2020 22:54

Had the app, never used the app ..... told via app to self isolate two weeks ago.

I have since deleted the app.

Pipandmum · 01/12/2020 22:57

None. But in tier one.

mindutopia · 01/12/2020 23:01

Never, I downloaded it pretty much the day it was released (I work in digital health app development). But I really am very careful and socially distance.

CheeseAndOnionIcecream · 02/12/2020 00:26

This is exactly why I haven't installed the app on my phone! I can't be doing with being told to self isolate every other week.

SleepingStandingUp · 02/12/2020 00:29
  1. Tier 3. Public transport and coffee shops mainly. Had app for ages.
EveryPlanetHasAYorkshire · 02/12/2020 00:33

Am in tier 3 as well.
