He really is. He has spoken but not actually said anything.

It's like he's playing that game where you can't say yes or no.

ExclamationPerfume · 01/12/2020 08:48

Grin He reminds me of a garden gnome.

Iamblossom · 01/12/2020 08:48

They all do this. Did you see Matt Hancock on it last week? It was an annihilation. No wonder they don't want to come on the show.

Sparklingbrook · 01/12/2020 08:48

I do like Piers.

Mmm. Mandy Holden next-will that be any more watchable?

I love Piers too. He asks the questions we want.

Yes, I bet when they were told they were allowed to go on again they were thrilled! Grin

Gove says that he doesn’t want to be prime minister..,, yeah right

He does. He doesn't care and he holds them to account while they squirm.

When he's up for Prime Minister that clip will be played repeatedly. Grin

I'm pretty sure saying you don't want to be prime minister, is the first step towards becoming prime minister. 😂
ExclamationPerfume · 01/12/2020 08:52

They should have Piers on until 10 and do away with Lorraine Kelly. She makes my blood pressure go through the roof. I find her the most irritating person alive.

Yes-just leave Piers on.

Oh no Mandy's cackling already and he's fawning.

She has an album out. Shock

It’s actually embarrassing the detours the MPs take just to avoid answering a simple question from Piers —I love Piers too—

Sparklingbrook · 01/12/2020 09:00

I think Piers treats it like a sport. Grin

I liked the challenging questions he asked especially at beginning of the pandemic, but now every interview is all just a bit samey and not at all informative. He asks a challenging question, the MP starts to answer, he shouts over them and it ends up as a Piers Morgan comical rant and the MP just doesn't get a word in. What is the point of that unless to just like seeing someone humiliated?

It would be better to hear a bit more of the MPs answers before challenging back, let them show for themselves how incompetent they are at their actual jobs rather than just not being able to stand up to someone publicly shouting at them.

ExclamationPerfume · 01/12/2020 09:12

@WeAllHaveWings that's the point though they don't answer the questions. They just waffle. Gove, Hancock and Boris are expert Wafflers.

nosswith · 01/12/2020 09:15

@AaronPurr Michael Gove has twice been rejected by his own party when seeking to be Prime Minister. He won't try a third time.

Hayeahnobut · 01/12/2020 09:17

@WeAllHaveWings Have you watched this morning's interview? I'm watching it right now (paused TV), he's being given plenty of time to answer. He keeps saying "You are flattering me", whenever he's asked for an answer.

(Completely irrelevant but his teeth are terrible.)

No haven't watched GMB for a while, I did enjoy at first but got bored of Piers ranting repetitiveness, he does it so much it has lost any impact.

Saw a GMB clip on twitter the other day with Matt Hancock's ridiculous grin throughout the interview, I cant even remember what the questions were, just Piers shouting and Matt Hancock looking stupid - is that good presenting of the latest news, issues or a comedy show?

Is GMB using its influence to add any value towards exposing our corrupt government and holding MPs to account or just entertaining as you watch MPs squirm over your morning coffee?

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 01/12/2020 11:47

When he's up for Prime Minister that clip will be played repeatedly.

Either that one or the LBC one where he tried to defend Cummings and nearly ended up admitting to going for a drive to test his eyesight.
