Kenwood KMix with glass bowl

Dp is getting me a stand mixer for Christmas.
So many Kenwood's are out of stock now but you can still get the one with the glass bowl. There are a lot of reviews on Amazon saying the glass bowl and plastic circle it sits in breaks easily.
Is there anyone here with one? Have you had any problems like this?
Can't decide whether to go for it or wait for more stock everywhere, possibly after Christmas and hopefully get one with stainless steel bowl.

I've got one with the glass bowl and my only complaint is the bowl is quite heavy when you're scraping out cake mix etc. Apart from that it's been absolutely fine. That's a year of using it once or twice a week.
Whichever you get, I'm sure you'll love though...I love not having to knead pizza dough for 10 minutes now Smile

I don't have one but I was considering it. Apparently Kenwood will replace it with a metal one but only after it's broken three times Confused
I didn't want the hassle so went for the metal one.
In your position I would want it right now (!) so would be much more tempted to buy it.

You're right. I do want it now so am tempted to just go for it.
