Emails playing a tune

For a few weeks now every time I send an email my phone plays a tune. I haven't changed my settings and I can't work out how to make it stop. I've googled and can't find an answer either. Someone please tell me that your phone does it too and you've worked out how to change it. DH and DC laugh their heads off each time it does it. It's an iPhone X. Please help!

Go into Settings, then Sounds and you can find out which tones are set for messages, emails, notifications etc.

I don’t know about your tune, but my iPad plays a tune when I receive an email. Also didn’t change any settings, it just stated one day!
