Advice needed kidney stones and swelling in vagina

Earlier this evening I had about an hour of pretty bad pain coming in waves (like contractions). It was at the bottom of my ribcage in my front and back seemed to match kidney stone symptoms.

I took ibuprofen, had a hot bath, felt much better. When I went to the loo later there was blood in my underwear and in urine. Again this seemed consistent and I was not worried, will call my GP in the morning.

Just been to the loo again and noticed I am also bleeding (slightly) from my vagina. (I'm mid cycle). Even more worrying there is a swelling in my vagina that wasnt there earlier.

Do you think I'm OK to leave it until the morning, or soul's I be calling the dreaded 111? Not in pain at the moment.

*You should contact a GP or NHS 111 immediately if:

you're in severe pain
you have a high temperature
you have an episode of shivering or shaking
you have blood in your urine*

Call 111 now. Kidney stones can be serious.

Thanks. Called 111 and they said to speak to get GP advice first thing. I'm a bit reassured. It's always nothing or ambulance with them. Grin

Be careful with yourself, don't hesitate to call 999 if you get into any serious pain. Usually better to be safe than sorry!

Hope you feel better soon x
