Any one planning anything fun?
We are likely to still be in a tier 2 area so no meeting up with anyone indoors. DC are 8 and 5 - pretty flexible in general but probably not much fun to be outside at midnight at this time of year.
Obviously the base plan is just to stay home and play board games - the littlest will drop off at some point and be carried off to bed and the biggest will happy wait for the bells. But I'd love to do something a bit 'more'.
I'm considering things like: spending the night at the LEGOLAND hotel - we would still ultimately be spending midnight just the same but in a fun room with fun activities for both days. I was this -- close to booking for the Alton Towers hotel but they are in tier 3 so unless that changes they can't open. Ditto I'm considering Centre Parcs just for a change of scenery. These are fairly pricey options and whilst we can luckily afford it I want to be sure it's the best idea first.
Anyone have any brain waves?? We 100% will stick to the rules and guidelines and won't do anything we don't feel is safe either.
