Things that cause you instant rage!

A safe space to vent upon the things that cause you to burn with rage at the mere mention of them.

Mine:

1. MLM schemes (especially people trying to "recruit" 16 year olds asking about work on Facebook).
2. The 11+/grammar test system. So many things wrong about it and makes me so angry on behalf of the kids.
3. Nose hanging out of mask (I'm looking at you, man in my local Sainsbury's!).

Happy ranting. I feel better already!

Chewing gum, especially open-mouthed chewing gum.

People who lick their fingers when turning pages. So gross.

People following too close behind when I'm walking/in line

People who don't say thank you when you move out of the way for them

People who stare.

People who wait until they've paid before they start to pack their shopping.

When I snag my headphones or clothing on a door handle.

People who stop in doorways to chat to their mate or rummage in their bag for something

Whistling. I abhor the sound

@ApplesandAardvarks the invention of the air pods has made my life so much better. I’m a housekeeper. And the bloody wires kept getting caught on the hoover. All the time. They have lowered my blood pressure level a lot

People who manage to get their toothpaste all over the bloody sink. What do u people do. Squeeze it out and rub it all over ???

1. parents who allow their children to run amok in Supermarkets

2. shoppers who dwardle in the entrance/exit of supermarkets

3. dog owners who don’t train their dogs to recall - instead keep constantly shouting the dog’s name blissfully unaware that Einstein’s definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over while expecting a different result

Current nutritional guidelines.

The way people announce their dog breeds. Especially if there's a poo at the end. Makes me internally wince every time.

Glaringly obvious typos in newspapers /magazines.

Men who spit in the street

Having to tell the queue jumper to move rather than them responding to "the look"

The postman getting me up (bed/sofa) to take a parcel he has yet again misdelivered to 39 instead of 34 as he can't be bothered to read

Had a woman lick her finger to open my carrier bag the other day... bad enough any time but let alone these times!

Corporate speak, just no need.

Loads of serious stuff but more petty things are;

People on here saying we need a serious discussion about obesity. But then don't have a conversation just talk at people and don't actually want anything of the sort the just want to fat shame.

Dog breeds. What happens to just havi g a dog? Loads of the breeding to get the features is really bad for dogs.

Grammar police/ pedants. They don't even know how cringey they are.

My ex husband. He has been so abusive and unpleasant over the years that I flare up immediately he says something even slightly negative or manipulative. I have no control over the speed and intensity of the fury. It's quite frightening to me to feel so out of control so I have 100% no contact with him now my children are older, even though he keeps sending needling messages about how we should be friendly to show the kids a good example.

Posters on here who ask "why did you have a baby with him then" to distressed and struggling OPs.

Actually another on... Women have multiple kids with useless men the complain about how shit said men are. Saying this makes me terrible apparently.

Ok so how long have you got......

1. Drivers who don't say thank you when you give them right of way
2. People who don't say thank you when you hold doors open etc (I've started to loudly shout "you're welcome")
3. DH leaving rolled up socks all over the house
4. The fridge in work 🤮
5. DH (again) saying "do we need anything from the shops" me giving him a list of 2/3 things and him saying "can you text it to me" or worse; texting me while I'm in work asking if we need anything while he is in the bloody house!!!
6. When people over the age of 16 text or email you using text speak!! Or worse still using it in a letter (yes I have experienced that!); in fact anyone doing it!!!!
7. FM perfume every other fucker is selling it
8. People who say brought instead of bought - Eg I brought one of those from Wilko's last year - why do so many people get it wrong
9. Using Xmas instead of Christmas - I really don't know why it irritates me so much!!!
10. Ending lists on an odd number

Mouth noises.

That Oral B advert "bum ... hips!" ... and then, just when the rage is already starting to boil she delivers the most stupid line in advertising history ... "I didn't know Oral B made a toothpaste!

Definitely agree about MLM sellers.

Something that gives me rage is extreme vegans who can't go 10 minutes without mentioning that they're vegans.
