Miele cylinder, it's brilliant, the best vacuum I've ever had.

Thirtyrock39 · 29/11/2020 17:13

I'm not that impressed with my Henry. I often end up just using the hose bit as don't find it that great with the normal attachment on it .

dementedma · 29/11/2020 17:13

Shark. Its brilliant

blowinahoolie · 29/11/2020 18:36

I am with mrsbyers - Henry is fab. Couldn't be without it.

H1978 · 29/11/2020 18:38

I have 3 vacuums, a Dc07, v10 cordless and a Henry. Henry definitely the most reliable of the three, had over 10 years and has never needed a service. Only downside, it’s quite heavy and difficult for steps.

CunnyLingus · 29/11/2020 18:38

Jack !

A little jack russell, sweeps the floor and very efficient.

Spied · 29/11/2020 18:40

Dyson 07 No way.

timeforawine · 29/11/2020 18:40

Miele cat and dog which is brilliant, also the Tineco pure one s12 cordless, fantastic hoover, plenty of accessories inc extra battery and great suction

MrsT1405 · 29/11/2020 18:52

Eufy c10 max with DC 10 for occasional use. I.love my robby robot!

unmarkedbythat · 29/11/2020 18:54

A Henry and yes. I will never be seduced by bagless techno wizardry again, Henry is indestructible.

BooOhHi · 29/11/2020 18:57

Henry, or rather the Hetty, she's around 10 now and still working as well as she always has so would definitely recommend. The only issue I've had is she likes getting caught on door frames and her smug little face makes me think she does it on purpose Confused

thismeansnothing · 29/11/2020 19:04

Ended up buying a shark cordless one 3 weeks ago. I was a bit wary of the 40min battery life. But if I'm organised I can do the three downstairs rooms, hallway, stairs and three bedrooms on one charge. I love it.

Thattwatoverthere · 29/11/2020 19:04

Henry. While he picks everything up and is indestructible, I long for a little cordless hoover I can just pick up and put down and fits easily in a cupboard.

I swear a lot at Henry, I feel bad for it but he likes to get stuck in doors and corners and will fall over pathetically when challenged.

ladykuga · 29/11/2020 19:10

Can't justify the price of a cordless dyson so went for the vax blade 32v which was great but have now upgraded to the vax 4 pet and I LOVE IT!! Love it even more because the ex bought it for me Grin

Briannaoftarth83 · 29/11/2020 19:11

Another Miele Cat and Dog owner. I've had a dyson and a shark in the past but the Miele is my favourite.

emeraldcity2000 · 29/11/2020 19:15

Another vote for Miele. We have the tiny one as wanted to store under the bed in our old flat - it's great.
According to my cleaner the old Henry's are much more powerful so if you go for that you can buy reconditioned ones which are better than the new ones!

turquoisebaby · 29/11/2020 19:24

I have had several over the past couple of years, they don't break, I just seem to have a weakness for hoover buying.
Worst hoovers are cordless, I had the bosch athelete when cordless became a 'thing' and a dyson, I don't rate cordless, especially if you have pets. Henry is god awful, I actually despise them. I used to get into arguments with him when the little turd fell over.
My latest is the Shark Lift away with antiwrap tech. It's a pretty decent hoover with some nifty features, the cord length could do with being a few metres longer but I really like not having to clear hair out of the brushes and hoovers stairs and edges of rooms is a breeze. I also loved my vax Air Stretch Max Pet Upright Vacuum Cleaner, suction is fantastic, and I could hoover my entire home without unplugging the cord, Its also under £100 and is a huge bargain for the price.

Selmaselma · 29/11/2020 19:26

I have two Mieles (one upstairs and one downstairs) and am really happy with them.
