Beethoven Symphony 7 3rd movement - was it ever a Radio show theme?

I was listening to the 2nd movement - which is used in the King's Speech - and then the 3rd movement started. It kicked a memory in me and I definitely think it was used in on the radio for something.

I could be mistaken - and Google hasn't helped.

Does anyone know?

My friend informs me that it was used as the theme to "Glamorous Nights" hosted by Sam Costa. That was a programme I liked, so explains its familiarity.
