Advice re TV etc

I currently have Virgin TiVo box but it keeps crashing which is really annoying. I think, on reflection, I don’t need the box and I reckon I’m wasting money as I hardly watch any of the channels.

I need something that gives me the main channels, access to iPlayer/More4 etc, and the ability to record. Any advice? Would I need an aerial?

I don't watch terrestrial tv anymore. Just use netflix, now tv, disney+ for the kids, more4, bbcIPlayer etc as and when I need them. Cancel them when I don't. It works out very cost effectively.

Just so you know though virgin media are a BUGGER to cancel though. I Was with them 10 years. Rubbish.

Thanks. Yes, I’ve heard they are buggers. I want to be able to watch terrestrial tv too. I’m quite old fashioned about that!
