I'm in a book club and for this year's secret santa we are giving gifts anonymously. This was planned before lockdown restrictions were to be changed, so it was agreed that we will each deliver a gift book to another member of the group by a certain day in mid December. The gifts are to be opened with our next Zoom session. One person has coordinated this via Facebook Messenger. I now have the book and the address of the recipient but how do I get it there? The easiest answer is to deliver it in person. However I don't want to be seen, and the book is too big to slip through the letter box. Of course, I could get someone else to deliver it but it will probably need to be left on the doorstep. Alternatively, I could send it through the post anonymously but I won't know if it's arrived will I as I won't be able to put my return address on the parcel.
What should I do?
