Ours is a spa break so less concerned about things nearby being open/available, although both home and destination at tier 2. We've got meals and spa sessions booked at the hotel. So it's not particularly a Christmas trip, just a trip before Christmas! I'm keen to support the hospitality industry if we can, too.
