Overwhelmed by supporting people

Does anyone else feel like this recently? Just moaning really.

As well as my own DC and DH trying to support the following:

Elderly neighbour with weekly food shopping- been doing this since start of the Spring lockdown. It is fine but something to add to everything.

My own elderly parents who live separately and rurally at the other end of the country from me- supporting by speaking to carers and warden and food if needed, calls etc

In DHs' family- weekly calls to his parents who are getting older and frail, help with ordering food if required.

DH also has other sick relatives and feeling guilty not helping them as much. However I do wonder why since it is his family really.

Along with all the news etc it is all emotionally exhausting.

Well drop his side and tell him it's his responsibility

It sounds overwhelming can't your partner deal with his families needs?

Thanks, yes I agree. He said something last night that I was hiding from his family or something which made me feel cross. Maybe he was projecting his feelings of guilt as he has been working lots and not around as much, who knows. I have been pulling back a little.
