Anyone else fancy a Sunday morning whinge?!

What’s annoyed you this morning?

I’ll start - I have come downstairs this morning to find that YET AGAIN my husband has failed to lock the back door before coming to bed last night.

If I’m last to bed then I check the whole house is locked but he likes to stay up really late and let’s our dogs out before coming to bed.

A couple of years ago when I was up in the night with newborn daughter we had a guy in the back garden who tried to get in the back door whilst I was standing there. Needless to say this left me very conscious about security and nervous at night.

Since then Hubby has left the back door unlocked (and even wide open once back in the summer) on several occasions overnight.
I hope I don’t sound like a harpy but this really cheesed me off this morning.

Anyone else started off their morning needing a moan? WinkGrin

Jeez is he my first boyfriend now grown up and married

My first bf was like that only worse. He would go out in to the garden at night for fresh air and come back in and leave the door open, not just unlocked open!!!! Imagine the trouble it caused in a shared student house and the problem if we got burgled

. I couldn't understand how hard it is for someone to open a door and not be able to close it behind them when they come in.

Quite honestly in the student house we eventually had to take the keys away to the back door. We hid them from him. He was a fucking liability.

Honestly they are like overgrown children

I cannot deal with DP and his parking ticket anymore. It's been disputed since 2016 and they're now pursuing a CCJ and he has to submit his defence by Monday, which he reads to me every twenty seconds asking me what I think. The thing is he can barely get through a sentence without getting struck by another thought and going off on another tangent about how unreasonable and bastardish they are. It's so exhausting and impossible to follow.

No idea @Newuser991
I take it you don’t want him back?
Free to a good home. 😉

Nah I'm good. You can keep him. Once was enough with a man like that.

😄

DS has just had his 3rd COVID test of the autumn. I’m 99% sure it will be negative. So I’ve got to spend tomorrow homeschooling him and hoping his test comes back quickly.

This also means we’ve had to put off the plasterer coming, which will have a knock-on effect as to when the decorator can come. It’s taking months to re-decorate one sodding chimney breast.
