I have just ordered some. Had them once before and was underwhelmed - but they were cold. Feel like I have to give them another chance.

They are also on my order due to arrive in 45mins 🤤🤤🤤

I've almost ordered them before but changed my mind last minute.

Our local chippy does salt and pepper chips with sliced sausage. I could inhale a portion right now.

I can feel the indegestion kicking in, but i totally dont care at the moment!

I read about these last night and have been trying to find somewhere near me that’s does them

They're amazing, and the chips with curry sauce I've ordered from the chippy is starting to pale by comparison.

Ours does salt and pepper potato waffles.

Bloody love them. You can buy the seasoning stuff in a tub from our local butchers (random I know) so we're going through a phase of having salt and chilli everything. Salt and chilli noodles were delicious

Ah I love them! And salt and pepper ribs, and salt and pepper chicken... obviously I don’t order all at once or I would be dehydrated for days.

My dd loves these. I can't stand them, not even the smell, so they are all hers!

B&M did a Chinese salt and pepper seasoning once and it amazing, I never found it again though 😭

I got some this evening and they were hugely disappointing. Nothing like salt and pepper squid or prawns.

There are too many variations of them these days though. We get them often but are always disappointed when they arrive and they're actually just chips with a chilli sauce on them, that really pisses me off because they shouldn't be called salt and chilli chips.

The indian place in town does the best in town though, they're green chillies and they are so spicy! Amazing. Haven't had them in months though as DP says they're too spicy (they can be, but I love them).

I shall share!

Chop a white onion finely, fry down. Add a clove of garlic, finely sliced, and a small green bird's-eye chilli.

1/2tsp salt, 1/2tsp white pepper, 1tsp Chinese five spice.

Add to chips, tofu, chicken, whatever.

Great choice. I also have a tub from the butchers. The seasoning is amazing on roasted chicken and veg. The only issue is a gallon of water required for the midnight cotton mouth.
