Our neighbours seem to have moved their TV so that it is now on the wall connecting our living rooms (semi detached house). It’s not very loud but it’s a persistent rumbling and just the kind of sound that I can’t tune out. I’m not mentioning it to them because I’m sure we make noise that disturbs them too but it is driving me absolutely crazy. It’s my issue - I’m very intolerant of noise, no one else in the house is bothered by it at all! I’m wondering if we can successfully have the wall soundproofed. Has anyone had it done and have an idea how effective it would be and what it might cost?
