What would you do? (Lottery related lighthearted)

What would your reaction be if someone won a lot of money on a lottery scratchcard that you'd given them as a sort of little gift inside a birthday or Christmas card?

I would have to put a fake smile on, but inside I'd be screaming "fuck, twat, bollocks, bastard" etc. Would you expect them to share some of the winnings, or accept it as bad luck that you didn't keep it for yourself?
Has it happened to anyone on here where you've either won a large amount or been the person who's given the lottery card and witnessed the person winning?

Incidentally, it hasn't happened to me, just wondered if it has with anyone on here.

That is literally the reason I would never gift those things to anyone, nor would I like to receive a gift like that.

I would feel awkward if I won money thanks to something someone had given to me, because how much would I have to share? Where is the line where you would have to share (i.e. I'd assume I could keep the winnings if I won £1, but what about £1,000? A million?)

So no, won't be gifting these!

If it was a big prize I'd expect a share. Would never gift one though, too addictive.

What LindaEllen said.

Whatever 'face' you painted on, you'd be gutted wouldn't you ?
I just couldn't give anyone a ticket, for that reason, and, when someone gave it to me once, I said 'thank you' and didn't start checking it in front of them.
