Anyone up to much? Chilling tonight watching Corrie ( which is going to be a tearjerker) & I’m A Celeb. We’re trying to make space in the freezer so ready meals for tea & another “ freezer tea” tomorrow. I’m working a full day tomorrow. DH is taking DD to Asda for new school shoes & will ask if she wants to buy me a birthday card ( this sounds odd but DD is adopted & for the last couple of years has found it difficult to mark other people’s special days 😢) We’re buying a real tree on Sunday 🎄Roast for tea. I’m cheating & have bought beef in gravy, cauliflower cheese, sliced carrots & Yorkies. Making the spuds myself at least!

I am working a 13hr shift tomorrow. DD1 is doing an online Brownie sleepover tomorrow/ Sunday with activities on zoom tomorrow afternoon and Sunday morning and sleeping in some sort of den that she will have to construct. At least this fills up the weekend as DD2 cannot leave the house as she is isolating as a contact with covid in school. Later on Sunday I have to get DC1 to do her homework and DC2 to catch up on some of the work her teacher set while she has been at home that we haven't been able to complete while I have been at work.

We are decorating our trees tomorrow, we have a fake one and a real one because I really wanted a real one but couldn't not use our faithful old fake one. I'm going to send everyone on a long dog walk so I can get some wrapping done.

Mydogisagentleman · 27/11/2020 18:11

Finish work at 8am, home for 8.30 and start to do the painting in DD bedroom.
She is coming back from university on Thursday and we have been half heartedly doing it for about 3 weeks

Baking Christmas biscuits and getting the first lot of decorations up for 1st Advent.

We’re moving house on Friday so a lot of it is admin and boxes! Am on mat leave with 4 month old DD which makes it extra challenging but DH is looking forward to time with his girl so I can get down to sorting stuff without interruption Smile might try and get a walk in one day as well. Risotto for tea tonight, takeaway tomorrow as a reward for all the life admin and a roast on Sunday. Lots of early nights as well as DD has managed to time her sleep regression perfectly for our moving week... 😭

DrunkenKoala · 27/11/2020 18:42

We’re going to get the Christmas tree tomorrow morning and then we’ll decorate it in the afternoon. Watch Strictly in the evening whilst guzzling baileys in hot chocolate.
I’ve got my food delivery coming on Sunday morning, while I’m putting it away DP will probably take DD out to the park. Sunday afternoons have recently turned into big arts and craft sessions. We seem to be making cars for DD’s teddies out of cardboard boxes lately so we’ll probably end up doing that again.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 27/11/2020 18:46

Christmas baking and a few hours of work
plus i'll take a PC to my local PC guy to get it sorted.

Partners ordered some new bedding and some very thin also mesh like curtains for our bedframe, the bedding is linen and I’ve washed it all, tonights task is ironing it before it goes on, he wants to take a photo of the newly made bed but it needs to be crease free apparently. So thats my fun for tonight.

When thats done we’re going to watch a film, not sure what, it isn’t my turn to pick.

Tomorrow we’re going to pick a christmas tree, I don’t celebrate christmas but my partner does, so I’ve had to cave and agree to get one. So this time tomorrow our flat will be covered in christmas shite.

I’m hoping to take my son on a bike ride tomorrow, with a stop off at our bubbles flat. But he might not want to go once the christmas tree has arrived.

On Sunday we’re going to the playpark first thing, then we have a little craft project to finish for school. The person in our bubble is coming over for dinner and we’re going to have a gaming night once my son is in bed.

EternalOptimist7 · 27/11/2020 19:37

SimonJT is your partner always like that? He sounds a bit joyless tbh

Off to town tomorrow to post back some bits fro. Hush which look awful on me. Then collecting some Christmas bits from click and collect and also buying some (exciting stuff this) washing powder for ds's nappies!

Not sure after that. Watching Strictly tomorrow and drinking wine always (not really, nobody stage an intervention please and thank you Grin)!

Always like what? I don’t understand what you mean?
DramaLlama12 · 27/11/2020 19:54

Probably ironing and planning on a slow cooked chilli for dinner tomorrow. Not much sunday probably take the dog over the park for an hour
Then listen to my daughter moan about not being able to come as she self isolating

Bluewavescrashing · 27/11/2020 19:56

As little as possible. Cleaning the house, cooking some nice food, receiving the food shopping delivery, a couple of nice walks, board games, films, lounging, sleeping. Very tired teacher!

Ragwort · 27/11/2020 19:58

Taking my elderly mum shopping, buying a posh pizza for my evening meal as DH on a Zoom call with friends in the evening and I am bored senseless cooking 'proper' evening meals Grin - he does cook but I don't particularly like what he cooks. No other plans ... getting ready to return to work after being furloughed for the last month - really looking forward to getting back to work!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/11/2020 20:03

Chilling with tv and dinner this evening.
Tomorrow I've got a two hour meeting and a bit of house stuff that needs doing. I think we are going to arrange some shopping to pick up too if we can. I might do some gaming later to say well. done to myself.
Sunday I'm going to go for a good walk before doing a bit of wrapping of presents.

LindaEllen · 27/11/2020 20:46

First on my list is having a lie in!! Second on the list is a whoooole load of tidying as we're having the whole house decorated so need it de-cluttered which will involve approximately 10,000 trips to the tip. Joy!

If we're done by the end of Sunday we'll have a Chinese .. and that thought will carry me through!

MrsDThomas · 27/11/2020 22:03

Been to the pub for a meal, glass of wine and tomorrow I’m running a half marathon. Up at 6am, out at 7, back home by 9:15. Then food shop, walk in PM then relax.
