I am assuming that knock off ones on Amazon are not so good?

If it needs to be Philips, is a corded one okay (much cheaper!) and do I need a facial attachment (I need it for my beard :(

I see Amazon have Black Friday deals on.
I'd rather not add to their pot, does anywhere else sell it similar price?

Boots often have good deals
Get a corded one as the non corded ones I think you have to charge every few months otherwise they die Shock

I've got the corded one and it has 3 attachment one for face I think. Br1923

The wireless ones are more user friendly, you don’t need to be near a plug. I had the same dilemma last year and went for the wireless one, which I’m glad I did as it suits my needs. I got a good deal from Boots Black Friday sale last year.

I have one that works with or without plug, but it would annoy me a lot of it ran out while I was doing it (I do everything in one go).

The main thing to watch for is the feature that allows you to glide and flash the laser without waiting. That's amazing.

Also, mine came with three different attachments but I use the biggest for almost everything apart from awkward facial hair (upper lip)

Here's the model I use.
It's hands down one of the best things I've ever bought.

Philips Lumea Prestige IPL Cordless Hair Removal Device with 3 Attachments for Body, Face & Precision Areas (Bikini and Underarms) – BRI954/00

Not Phillips but Braun for me, much smaller and easy to use in different places hard to reach ,definitely corded , one of the best purchases I ever made. With Braun you don’t need any extra attachments you blitz yourself from top to bottomSmile

Bump.

I looked on Amazon (bit late for Black Friday but have been unwell)
and the 921 is £200 with a 30 day 'guarantee to be effective'

whereas the 954 is a lot more expensive.

Is there a better deal / 100 day guarantee to be effective elsewhere does anyone know?
(sorry, should do my own research but still not hugely well)

Bought one a few months ago, I was sceptical as I’ve had IPL before at a clinic and it didn’t work. I’ve got a Philips BRI954.

Cannot believe the difference. I’m so much more confident and not having to Veet my face twice a week.
