How long did you wait for results? I was tested at a centre last Saturday and still haven't received any results yet, spoke to 119 yesterday but they weren't able to help.

My son had his test last night. Got results this morning. Positive unfortunately.
But they did say it can take 48hrs

Wow that’s ages op. We’ve done two tests and got them both back within 24 hours

Yeah I think there's a problem as when I booked test I was told I would receive a text but never did....

Probs a silly question but you’re sure you didn’t make an error when adding your phone number and email address?

No issues with contact details, confirmed all correct.

That’s rubbish then op. I would be surprised if you’ll get the results now as it’s been almost a week, looks like somethings gone wrong there.

Yes we had results within 24 hours after the test. Texted overnight (negative fortunately)

Sounds like something went awry there as most seem very quick at the moment. Hope you get result soon. It's a stressful wait...

My Dd and her husband and Dd all had tests on a Monday afternoon,got the results on the Wednesday morning,barely 2 days later.

We had a result within 25 hours. I'd call the number again and see what they suggest.

Two of my boys had tests on a Thursday and we were told 24-48 hours for the result. We hadn't had the results by the following Tuesday so rang up, they checked they were there etc and escalated it for someone to check them out. Got texts and emails late on the Wednesday (9.30pm ish!) telling us they were not able to get a result from either sample. Had to isolate for the full 14 days just in case.

From what I have heard from others a positive or negative result tends to get notified quickly but an 'inconclusive' takes longer, maybe they wait longer to see if a result happens or try to redo it if there is enough to test etc. I don't know exactly how it works and this is just possible conclusions from a very small sample of people I know.
