This advert is not advertising what it says it's advertising, is it?

Is it just me? Seems there is quite a lot of subtext to this advert...

Do I just have a dirty mind?

I think it might be your mind.

I think it's looks like it's selling a toothbrush.

Love the music.

I give it 4 messages before you're accused of being from their marketing department and 8 before you're accused of libel. 50% chance it's the same person both times.

ElizabethinherGermanGarden · 26/11/2020 23:51

I'll watch out for that then!

Well, personally I think it’s a slight step up from the ad with the gormless woman who lurches from aerobics to eating peppers to gasping at her dentist ‘I didn’t know ORAL B MADE A TOOTHPASTE!!!!’ as if she’d just discovered the Holy Grail wrapped up in the winning Euromillions scratch card.

Lounging · 27/11/2020 08:32

They have definitely sexed that up. However I can't personally imagine using this device sexually, it would be incredibly painful and... Sandpapery?!

Derekhello · 27/11/2020 09:28

I’ve only ever seen it as a toothbrush and my minds filthy 😂

FourTeaFallOut · 27/11/2020 09:34

I don't see anything. Is this like in old movies when a train goes through a tunnel and we're supposed to read that like the previous couple just got it on...but like, a toothbrush equivalent? I can't see it - sorry - think it's just you op, you libellous marketeer.

slashlover · 27/11/2020 09:39

It just looks like an advert for a toothbrush in the style usually reserved for fancy cars.

Maybe the item is dual purpose. The other end is not sandpapery.wink
