Uvula touching my tongue

For a few days, I've felt like something was stuck in my throat, like a hair or something. Nothing was budging it so I had a good look today and my uvula is actually hanging down onto the back of my tongue
I'm no medical expert and I don't look in my mouth all that often, but I'm sure that isn't normal.

I don't have any pain at all, no sore throat etc, but every so often get a bit of a gagging sensation as it wiggles around on my tongue 🤢

Anyone else had this?

I've had this before, it just went away on it's own. Assumed it was some kind of throat infection thing! If it doesn't go away, get it checked but I wouldn't worry;!

I’ve had this before! It was the strangest sensation! Mine was related to oral thrush (caused by a month of antibiotics).

I've had this and it really is a very odd sensation. Keep yourself well hydrated. It goes away after a couple of days
