My dad has helped me lot this year and I want to get him a really nice whisky.

My limit is about £100.

Can anyone recommend a really, really nice one for that amount.

He likes Jameson's and Glenfidich but he's open to try any.

Tia

Maybe one of the Japanese whiskies. My best friend loves 2 called yamazaki and habiki. Try the jack daniels website also. They have specifically aged ones on there. My dh loves Chivas Regal. That one's not too expensive. Ranges between £20 to £30.

Glenmorangie Cadboll cup is lovely. It's unpeated, I don't like peated whiskies, and this is very smooth. It's about £70 at the distillery shop for a litre bottle, more expensive if you get it online. It's a limited edition that's coming to the end of the stock.

Whisky is very personal and the selection is hugely varied
I love something smokey and peaty, salty and almost medicinal

Maybe a selection of different regions might suit...so several bottles instead of one big expensive purchase that he may feel he has to choke down.
Glenfiddich do a fair amount of specials and different vintages, so there will be something there you could go for if you still want to stick to one big pricey gesture, or you could go with a variety.
