I can’t do this anymore

I just seem to have hit a wall with this corona shit. It’s going on so long and I can’t see an end now. Every time you get a glimpse of hope it’s stamped out. How are you all coping? I’m at breaking point.

I feel the same as you. I’m a non-NHS Public Servant who has worked all through this dealing with emergencies, and I will be working all over Christmas and New Year so will not get any chance to see any family. Fucking depressed.

I’m a childminder, I can have the children I look after in my house along with all the risk that their families bring but not my niece or nephew or my mum. It’s nuts. I need a hug!

And Dh is a police officer, off Christmas Day that is goodness but not much else

My partner is at breaking point too. He works in the nhs and is really struggling. Not because of the workload although he did say yesterday he felt nervous going to work. But for the fact his life has just become work and home. We can’t do anything else. He thinks he’s wasted the year, there’s nothing to look forward to etc. It’s hard to watch and hard to hear him say that

I am wondering how long I will have a roof over my head. Everything has been shit in my life for a long time and all I had to console me was having a place to live. No idea what to do and have ended up doing nothing. I have coped with some awful stuff in my life and just got on with it but this has floored me, I can't cope with it and don't think I will get through it on top of everything else. It is pointless trying.
