If posted mail is redirected away from certain addresses, does this also apply if you ask for a delivery that is done by a courier firm who would knock on the door instead?
An elderly relative who lives with a carer doesn't receive things I post for a while, due to them being redirected to someone else. I'd like to send a little hamper but in the case of food, this would not work if that item were to be redirected because of the shelf life. If the delivery method was by courier though, would that mean that it did get to their door because of it not being 'post'?
