So bored. Bored of surfing t'interweb. Bored of not going out. Bored of doing creative/productive/inspirational things at home Bored of cooking. Bored of reading. Bored of long evenings to fill watching yet more TV.

(Yes I know I am lucky this is my worst problem (it's not) etc etc)

I used to commute. Out at 6.30am, home 6 pm. Now I’m home 8 till 4. I’ve tried jigsaws. I’ve tried drawing. Mostly I watch shit on Netflix and avoid doing any extra housework. I miss chilling with my music on the bus.

However, both me and my partner still have jobs. I need to tenner how lucky we are right now for that!

We don't have jobs and I don't even drink any more, which may also be why I am so BOOOOOOOOOORED!!!!!!!!!!!

I've taken up reading slashfic and inventing a whole fantasy world for myself, passes the time

Seriously, life can be boring at times and particularly at present. However, a vaccine is round the corner (so we are told), and things will then be better.

I hear you. The lovely relaxed chilling out normally experienced between Xmas and new year is now the dried up repetitive tedium of everyday life. For me anyway. I realise some people's experiences are of a totally different and more difficult type. But boredom is horrible too.

I hear you. I'm not a particularly sociable person but I'm bored stiff of just being around the people that live with me. Even just sitting in the cinema with other people around would be nice. It's much harder than the first lockdown because the evenings were light and we had walks after dinner instead of just slumping in the sofa watching TV.
Even doing the grocery shopping feels like a day out!

Roll on next week - most things I want to do will be open again.

Have you thought about volunteering? Even if you are confined to the house you can listen to schoolchildren read over zoom or similar.

I hear you. I had a trip to the dentists today and even that felt like a sort of trip out.

I am too very bored. Been on "maternity" all year. People keep saying to me "you're too busy to be bored" it's not true! Really really bored of everything at the moment.

Jesus Christ yes, I'm with you. And I know I'm fortunate to have a nice WFH job and two kids to technically distract and/or amuse me.

But it's like ennui of the soul, isn't it?

Also very bored. And like a pp said, I usually look forward to the lovely lazy time around Xmas/NYE (me and DH both get two weeks off work, can't change that, have to use the leave then as work is shut so no option to save it for next summer). Now I'm kind of dreading it.

DD nearly 2 and I dread trying to fill the weekends, all we do is go to the bastard park. She is bored too.

I'm also pregnant again so can't even drink like I did in lockdown 1! Otherwise I'd make some (more) cocktails etc. Can't be arsed to cook though. Bored but still lazy.

Bored and tired too, pregnant and fed up, covid positive for DH so isolating, DCs home too as they can't go to school though zoom in for lessons. So bored in fact we are barely speaking to each other as that seems to be an effort too. Feel like I have finished netflix and amazon, no desire whatsoever to plan for Christmas. Only person who seems to be enjoying himself is FIL, why I have no idea and no energy to enquire.

The highlight of my day comes when I've collected DC from school and I change from drinking 7 Up (daytime drink) to ginger beer (nighttime drink).

Me too. I’m WFH but there always seems to be a million more jobs to do around the home. It’s an endless cycle of making food, cleaning the kitchen, loading the dishwasher and unloading the dishwasher, And now it’s 3 meals a day 🙈. Or the endless cycle of washing and cleaning. I know that’s not increased, but at least when I could go out to work, I could shut the door on it and have a break. Now it feels constant. I’ve completely had enough now.

I'm bored because my laptop is off being fixed and I can't watch YouTube (well I can, but three videos drained my tablet battery last night and I fucking hate ads, so I really miss adblock right now, and I hate having to hold my tablet instead of just opening my laptop, letting something play and being able to do other things at the same time.)
And I'm bored because even though I have loads of books I don't know what to read, although I've just finished The Ickabog.
Work is bloody boring too, wiping baskets and counting people as they go in and out of the shop is fucking mind numbing and soul destroying. Roll on January when they reopen the café, (if we're not still in lockdown.)

It's the mindless repetition that's driving me mad. We're keyworkers and bar 2 weeks of quarantine we've been working 6 days a week since March with very little else going on outside of that.

Capped off with my sudden onset anxiety which is limiting what we do (I am aware of this and trying to control it but it's new to me). I'm so bored I've actually started exercising - on purpose 😮🤣

God I know how you feel, I was ill last week so off work and have a weeks annual leave booked before lockdown. I have been moping around al day. I have cleaned everything that can be cleaned, walked for a couple of hours every day. I don't even have any attention span left to do anything my brain has shut down.

I want to do online shopping but can't even think of anything I want.
