Scent-free hand wash detergent needed

tectonicplates · 25/11/2020 13:36

Does anyone make a scent-free hand washing detergent thing for hand washing bras and delicate clothes? I've tried using soap a few times but it's not really working for me.

No Ecover Zero suggestions please as I can't stand the smell, much as they claim there isn't one.

You could try a scent free sensitive skin bubble bath watered down

You want Mitchell’s Woolly Wash

mitchellswoolfatsoap.co.uk/product/woolly-wash/

It’s for hand washing as well as woollens in the machine.

Thanks to everyone so far. Any other suggestions?

I've used Dr Beckmanns travel wash lots of times and have never noticed it has a scent at all. In fact it was one of the things I missed while travelling, that my clothes had no scent at all

CoronaCurls · 28/11/2020 18:21

Have you tried Castile liquid soap? It has good as a hand-wash as well as for hand-washing clothes.

tectonicplates · 28/11/2020 18:24

@CoronaCurls Do you mean like the Dr Bronner's stuff? shop.drbronner.co.uk/products/baby-unscented-pure-castile-liquid-soap-60ml/drbmild59ml.aspx?productid=drbmild59ml

Ecover Zero delicate wash.

jcurve · 28/11/2020 18:27

Apologies - missed that you didn’t want it.

CoronaCurls · 28/11/2020 19:08

Yes but you can get an unbranded version much cheaper on amazon- I buy it in 5L containers.

isitreallytrue · 29/11/2020 23:12

"Soak" brand handwash. You can get it on Amazon now.
I originally used it for expensive swimwear years ago and it's highly rated for delicates and knitwear. Not cheap though, so I do only reserve for the expensive stuff.

ChrissyPlummer · 29/11/2020 23:16

I always use Stergene for hand wash things.

ItsDinah · 29/11/2020 23:28

I use washing up liquid . Agree with you about the awful smell of Ecover. One of the problems is that the basic ingredients of detergents, soaps & cosmetics smell ,so without some masking scent you wind up with things that smell bad to at least some of the population,

FrogFairy · 30/11/2020 00:08

Surcare or Filetti?

tectonicplates · 30/11/2020 01:07

Stergene contains perfume, unfortunately.

I’ve been using Bio D fragrance free laundry liquid for a while, and just found out that Marks & Spencer do a sensitive fragrance free liquid too that is also cheaper
